La posizione è splendida! Praticamente a picco sul mare (e credetemi, svegliarsi al mattino guardando dalla finestra il sole riflettersi sull’acqua, vale il viaggio!) La casa è splendida anche lei. Spaziosa, attrezzata, pulitissima, arredata con gusto in stile “marinaro”, dotata di tutto quello che serve e anche qualcosa in più, fresca, luminosa, con un terrazzo enorme e un piccolo giardino…un posto perfetto per rilassarsi e godersi l’estate mediterranea! Sara, la proprietaria, è gentile, disponibile e attenta. Si è fatta in quattro per risolverci un piccolo problema che avevamo, ci ha dato consigli, ha sempre risposto a ogni messaggio…grazie davvero! E il paese, in più, è un angolo di Sicilia molto più vero e meno turistico dei soliti “luoghi noti”, un borgo di pescatori tranquillo e pittoresco. Dove tra l’altro (l’abbiamo scoperto l’ultimo giorno, purtroppo) c’è un piccolo locale che fa le migliori granite di Catania (abbiamo incontrato persone di Torino che venivano lì per questo!), con una gentilissima proprietaria ottuagenaria, che merita conoscere. Consigliatissimo tutto!

We loved our stay at Casa Sara. The house has a beautiful view over the marina and sea. Our little dog enjoyed the yard and we loved the spacious terrace with so many places to sit and relax. Both bedrooms have large windows looking out to the sea. The kitchen is well furnished and the bathroom is modern with a great shower. The area was very quiet- the only sound were the waves and small fishing boats heading out in the morning. There are two good restaurants just below the house. There is also a small market up the street, open in the mornings. Great area to walk. You need a car- it is a steep and winding drive up to Acireale. However, we prefer to stay at places like this that are a little off the beaten path. We truly felt like we were in the real Sicily here. We can't wait to return! Also, communication with Sara was excellent, which we really appreciated.
