Spacious, well located apartment at a good price. Giacomo was really helpful, on arrival, on leaving and in responding to any queries we had whilst there. Croissant and coffee at local cafe was good, if basic, but at the price, this was just a nice bonus really. In historic area, so restricted parking, so to have free parking a short walk away (albeit involving steps) was good.

Bed linen didn't fit well and bed was not that comfortable. (Bed-) Settee in lounge area was tired and sheet cover was a pain and kept slipping off. A coffee machine and some basic supplies works have been nice. The park you overlook is abandoned, which is a shame and not the owner's fault.

A great place! The hosts were extremely kind and gave us useful tips about the place. On our next trip, we would stay longer. Everything was fine! I strongly recommend!

This is a two-room spacious apartment in a great location -- near the port and historic castle, and the price for our stay was a bit more than 50euro/night which I also find great. The apt has the air conditioner, heater, washing machine, big fridge, and a dishwasher. The kitchen has anything you need to cook. The couch in the living room can be turned into a bed, so, in principle the apt could be rented for more than two people (contact host to verify that). The host is responsive, his English is great which is often not the case in Italy, and he was very nice to be there exactly at the time we arrived to give us the keys and to explain us everything.

wifi in the apt is bad, unfortunatley; the bed is a bit short, about 185-190cm in length, which could be an issue if you are tall.

Everything was spotless. Plenty of coathangers and closet space. Our host Giacomo was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to do one load of laundry but there was no detergent. He immediately went to the store and brought it to our unit. The breakfast place, Prendi Luna, and its owner Mauro, were a highlight. Be sure to take the time to have lunch there. You will not be disappointed!

The unit was great overall, but could have used a light over the kitchen counter.

The apartment is fully equipped, everything you may need is there. The location is also great. Giacomo was wery friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything, we really enjoyed our stay in La Scalinata! 😊
