The facilities are great! And the surroundings. Lake Como is stunning...

Inside the apartment you have everything you need (in the first day). But during the 7 days stay we didn’t get any clean towels, toiletries, no room cleaning, nothing at all. When I tried to talk to the owner and ask for those she rudely answered that I have no idea what I’m talking about. That all this type of rentals in Italy don’t offer these services. Really?? If it wasn’t against the rules I would post a list with all the other rentals ( same exact type) where we stayed in Italy this summer, and guess what, they all offered these services even for a 3 day rental (and we stayed 7 days here). When we got there they informed us that there is parking next to the house. Really? Depends what the meaning of “next to the house is”. 100 m away, up and down many many stairs, there is a tiny parking that you can use only for loading/unloading and you are not allowed to leave the car there for more than 30min. In the first 2 days I complained that many tourists leave their cars there and the taxi that was bringing us home could not turn. This is far from downtown and it’s almost impossible to climb all the way to the top(where the house is). We are in late 40s and relatively fit. She tried to find a solution but the next day the parking was full again. When we left I had to carry all bags on a tiny unpaved street, and some very steep stairs. Because the parking was again full by other “smart” tourists. The pool: it’s not only for this apartment. Nooo.. everyone who lives close by comes to this pool. It is overly crowded and disorderly, not to mention very noisy. Not what you wish for in a vacation, for sure. And there is no mentioning of this (being a shared, sort of public pool) in the description of the rental. I don’t recommend this place to anyone! And I’m not a hard to please type of guy, you can check my other reviews on this website. But this was one of the worst experiences I ever had. And for the price I paid I’m sure there are much better places.
