Casa delle Rose

Struttura accogliente, dotata di tutti i comfort, dal frigo alla lavatrice, passando per pentole, bicchieri, calici e posate! La signora Mariarosa super disponibile e gentile. Posizione abbastanza comoda, vicino al centro di Teglio. Nel paesino trovate un ristorante “San Pietro” , in cui si mangia molto bene la cucina valtellinese e ha opzioni SENZA GLUTINE.

Mariarosa and Rudolfo were lovely and very welcoming. We had friends meeting us and having the 2 spaces next to each other was perfect. We only used one kitchen.

A 20 minute or more walk into town but there is side walk.

The stay was very good the house is very nice and in a very quite area.The mountain view was fantastic.

In the house there was no kettle 😊 but Mariarosa the host was very nice and brough a coffee machine , she was very helpful as some small faults happend.

Excellent location, the perfect spot to enjoy the freshness of the Alps, a few kilometers from very famous places (Stelvio pass, Livigno, Bormio, Saint Moritz, Bernina pass, Switzerland in general, etc). One week is perfect to both take a rest and visit the surroundings. I am not writing anything about the house itself because there is simply nothing to say: everything is as described and I confirm 100% that what other guests have written in their opinion. The host and everybody involved are super nice and gentle. Every tiny problem was solved immediately. They also provided the right contacts to eat health and local (meat and veggies from local farmers are exceptionally tasty and good). Places to visit: Cancano lakes, Livigno, Tirano, Ponte nel cielo, Chiavenna, Lago di Mezzola, Gravedona, Lago d'Iseo, Bernina pass, Stelvio pass, Bormio, St Moritz. Places where to eat: Agriturismo "Alberta", Restaurant "Ai tigli", farmers' market in Teglio on Tuesday morning. I strongly suggest Casa delle rose!!

This house has everything you need for a relaxing and stress free holiday. Incredibly clean, with a cozy kitchen, living room (with fireplace) and dining area on the ground level. upstairs a big bathroom with a huge bathtub and shower. Bedroom is next to the bathroom. Big clothes cabinet. Bonus is a balcony with room for two to admire the wonderful high mountains. Just off the ground level is a terrace. The house is among several private stone houses with gardens. The church bells ring twice a day at 8. The house is far enough from the road and the road isn’t busy at all. At night it’s totally quiet. You can walk into Teglio very easily. We hiked all around the area. This is a wonderful area for relaxing in nature. This house is one of the better places we’ve reserved recently and we travel a lot. Don’t miss the amazing local foods. Pizzocheri is a special buckwheat pasta dish that is famous in the Valtellina valley. This is an apple region and you also find red wine is produced here. The owners here are wonderful, friendly people. even though we don’t speak much Italian, we could communicate using google translate. very funny sometimes!!! The owner gave us a bottle of his red wine! And a thornless rose 🌹. This ‘rose cottage’ is just like that thornless rose—-All the beauty with none of the thorns!!
