Villa Levante Amalfi Coast

We spent 5 nights in the apartment and would like to come again. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped. Beds are very comfy and 2 bathrooms help to organize the family life 😉 All rooms have amazing sea view and enormous terrace invites to spend time in the morning and evening. But the unique selling point is the private sunbathing terrace with private water entry. It gives the sense of privacy and comfort and water is great for snorkeling with quite reach sea life. Highly recommended!

We were unlucky because air conditioning broke down one day before our arrival. We were warned about this by the staff, 2 big fans were put into the apartment and we were invited to the owners restaurant for dinner as a compensation. On the day of our departure crew came with new AC units so let's hope that next guests will experience full comfort of this amazing place 🙂 Other than that nothing to complain about.

THE BEST LOACTION POSSIBLE! This place was a little over budget for us and yet we booked it and we have no regrets. The whole group was dancing in joy seeing the views. Worth it! We took a local bus from the train station and got dropped 5 mins away at the bus stop. Though the streets are narrow, we could get off and easily pull our bags and walk to the property. There someone met us with the keys and showed us around. Yes there are a lot of steps to the house from the street, a little difficult with heavy bags but don't worry about it. WORTH IT! The house itself is so tastefully designed! The deck overlooks the ocean and you could sit there all day. There is a huge outdoor table with an umbrella for meals outside. Each tile is tastefully designed. The kitchen is properly equipped and have the most beautiful crockery pieces. Plan for a big spread on the deck! The house layout is great and you have amazing views from each room. The TV was modern and wifi worked fine. Washing machine and dishwasher to make your life easy. THE BEST PART - you can access the sea from the house itself. It is a little rocky and since there were not many people around, we were hesitant to get in at first but there was no problem. We loved it. Deck has sunbeds and shower and power supply too if you want music there. Getting around was easy - could take a bus from the street to visit other towns. We took the bus once. Was comfortable for all. Few of us who have motion sickness had a few issues cause of sharp turns. The ferry terminal was close by, we could take ferries in and out easily. This was the first stop so made it easy to find good spots. Our ferry to Capri island started from this town as well. Made it very easy to go anywhere. The town itself was cute and laid back. Did not have the chance to try any eateries but looked good. Found a grocery store for all that we needed. Overall, highly recommended!

We visited in the month of October when it was already a little chilly so made it hard to get in the water. We still did and enjoyed. The area was rocky and the waves would push us to the rocks so wasn't a 100% safe. For sure not for kids. The outdoor area and sunbeds were not clean. Could tell the place wasn't being used as much in these months so the outdoors had not been cleaned at all. The sunsets on the other side which means the ocean access area will not have direct sunlight end of day. Or the town by the time you return would not have enough light, not an issue. Just an observation. There were snail type insects in the area but not much you can do about it. There were kayaks and paddle boats at the property but we could not get in touch with the host to ask if those were available to us. Stairs are too many if that might be a concern

Unique property with spacious patio and balcony with breathtaking views of the sea, the coastline and the port of Cetara. Private swimming area with 5 chaise lounge chairs on a patio directly below the apartment. Comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room. Short walk to town--5 min or less. Cetara village is charming, MUCH more quiet than other towns on the Amalfi Coast.

It's an effort with lots of steps to carry luggage. My wife's parents, who are 80, had a tough time with the amount of steps to get down to the apartment and then to get down to the private swimming area. But steps come with the territory of most of the Amalfi Coast. Surprised that the kitchen did not have a microwave. Full stove and modern convection oven worked well though. Surprised that we could not get delivery from restaurants. And only 2 did takeout (limited to pizza and fried seafood).
