Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They were easy to contact and always answered any WhatsApp questions very promptly. They did not speak English but were very patient and understanding as I put everything through translation software. They left local restaurant recommendations and, when they found out that I was arriving by train and trying to figure out the bus routes, they organised to come and pick me up from the train station for only €10 extra (a very reasonable price in my experience). Clean, modern interior with comfy beds and good air-conditioning. And absolutely stunning views of the hills, the sea, and the rest of the town. Would absolutely recommend for anyone planning to stay in Tusa.

I would just note for anyone with limited mobility that the residence is located at the edge of the town. It's only a 5min walk into the centre of town (and the quietness is great), but it does involve some short but steep inclines/declines (as you find in most places in Sicily). So, if you're less steady on your feet, having a rental car would be a good idea.
