This is our favorite apartment in Monopoli and we stay here regularly. Silvio, who welcomed us to the apartment, was very professional and friendly. The apartment has two bathrooms and is very nicely furnished. Only people with limited mobility might have a problem, as there are two flights of stairs to climb to get into the apartment. The terrace was great.

The refrigerator was slightly louder than average, but otherwise there was no noise from the street.

The property is beautiful inside & out! It is a beautifully restored home in the centre of the old town with charm and modern luxuries with a balcony and large terrace with amazing views of the tower. The place was spotless and the bed is really comfortable too. You really couldn’t stay more centrally.

Lovely, spacious apartment. Amazing location very close to restaurants and 10min walk to the beach. Silvio was very accommodating and a great communicator. Would definitely recommend!

Location is perfect, easily accessible to the centre of Monopoli.

The apartment was clean and modern with elegant traditional styling. It was well appointed with air conditioning on each level, a good size shower and spa bath and 2 bathrooms. There was a small kitchen area that had a full sized undercounter fridge with a small freezer compartment amd an induction hob. The terrace afforded a good deal of privacy and the accomodation was fairly quiet. The hosts were really communicative and helpful and the apartment was well located for the old town and the beach. We would definitely stay again!

Great location. Spacious apartment. Nice large terrace.

Communications were concise and confusing at times. Spa bath and apparent feature did not work correctly and when used pumped out black sediment into bath water so had to abandon using the spa bath. Leak from bathroom sink. Leak resolved the next day but did not have time to use the spa bath again. Obsessive instructions regards splitting refuse for collection each day, which we have never experienced again. Met by Rafael at space we had parked in for free transport of luggage to the apartment, albeit we then realised we were just 80m away!!! Checked if we were ok to leave the car where parked for 4 days and was advised YES. On day of departure found parking g ticket on car. Contacted host who apologised but then defended Rafael and no offer to cover the cost of the fine or help pay it given instructions all in Italian. If we had been advised of any restrictions we would have adhered to them. Narrow stairs lead up to apartment. Carrying large or heavy luggage up stairs can be a challenge. Handrail to assist was partially broken at top of stairs on arrival. We have since moved on to Lecce and are staying in another apartment close to old centre. Attitude of host is night and day compared to host here. I have kept this review factual as host may choose to respond but hopefully will not dispute factual rather than emotional statements.

We loved our stay in Palazzo Stepane, but it was made extra special by Annamaria who was an exceptional host. Whatever she is being paid for the job, she deserves a raise. The location of the property is ideal, as it's on a quiet side side street just seconds away from the hive of activity in the old town. Perfetto!
