The closest beach wasn't the best

We stayed in Atrani as we found it slightly cheaper than Amalfi however is within 10min walk which was no issue. Atrani is a nice quiet area if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. It is also not as hilly so while there are a few stairs to climb this is nothing compared to other locations we saw while on our trip. Guiseppe was our host who was fantastic in providing us a run down of the property ensuring we knew how everything worked for our stay. We alerted also offered a complimentary dinner at one of the restaurants in the main square which we found to be fantastic. Overall the property is fantastic and the layout is a little bit different with a loft area for the bedroom which we loved. If travelling to the Amalfi coast I would certainly consider staying at Atrani as an alternate option

Apartment was clean and comfortable. REALLY-perfect location. Everything was perfectly prepared. Highly reccomend.

The location was incredible. Extremely close to the beach… you basically come off the beach and walk up 40 or 50 steps, it wasn’t that bad. The place was newly renovated and was beautiful. The air-conditioning was wonderful and it was very easy to cook in the kitchen, tvs in the rooms. And the contact was very responsive with any questions that we had. He even gave us a voucher for dinner at this great restaurant at the bottom of the steps!

The only thing that was hard was the hot and cold shower, but we got used to it and the bells ringing every 15 minutes. but with the window shut, you really can’t hear them and we didn’t have one issue with it, including our 2 kids

We had a fantastic time. The host meet and greeted us right from the start. The apartment was absolutely brilliant, well equipped, and in a well placed location in Atrani near to the main square and beach. Our host showed us around the apartment and local facilities (shops and restaurants). He even gave us a dinner voucher for all the family at his favourite local restaurant ❤️. In all my years of working and travelling abroad, I can honestly say I have never received a warmer welcome. I would highly recommend this apartment in Atrani. Would definitely visit again.

You have to remember Atrani is a small cliff side village. Parking is a nightmare and expensive (between 25 and 45 euros per 24 hours). If you are quick, your host will give you some tips on parking. Unfortunately, I was too slow.

Fantastic location and completely authentic. Layout of the property was excellent for the family and all facilities were fully functioning and clean. Giuseppe and his family even bought a voucher for a local restaurant as part of our welcome present to stay. He was very easy to contact and Atrani is a little gem in the Amalfi, away from the hustle and bustle of the other towns. Very picturesque and lovely beach that we couldn’t get the kids away from. The back drop was sensational.

Great location! My family and I loved staying in Atrani. It was not a far walk at all to Amalfi, though we mostly stayed in Atrani. The restaurant down the stairs was great and the courtyard had everything we needed.

Great property in a fantastic location. Some lovely restaurants on the doorstep. Easy access to Amalfi in less than 10 minutes walking. Ask about the ‘secret’ pedestrian tunnel.

The shower was very erratic, took a few minutes to heat and frequently switched to cold mid shower. Noisy with the church bells going off every 15 minutes day & night. I know that wasn’t the property’s issue.

Sapore de Sale is beautiful, well thought out accommodation and is exactly as the pictures appear. Giuseppe has paid careful attention to ensuring all aspects of the accommodation make visitors feel comfortable and at home. He was a friendly and delightful host and lovely to chat to. If you are keen to escape the insane busyness of Amalfi and Positano, Atrani is an authentic place to do so and Sapore de Sale was perfect for relaxing. Great restaurants on the square too.
