Amazing Experience. Wonderful location, exceptional HOST!!

Great, historical location, clean, comfortable, spacious, "retreat" style accommodation, a stone's throw from Piazza Duomo and adjacent to the best non-Michelin starred restaurant I have dined in for years - Osteria Imperfetta (not sure how they could get closer to perfect for that money tbh). Most of all though, the host, Giorgio, was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, resourceful and helpful - like having a local on-call butler with perfect English only at no charge. Stay now before Giorgio gets snapped up by a Ritz somewhere.

Small quibble and it's because I retire and wake early, but there was some street noise at nighttime. It probably wouldn't have been audible with the AC on, but I spend most of the year in SE Asia, so the ambient temperature in Sicily in June was wonderfully comfortable as far as I was concerned.

The location was very central. right next to the Duomo square.

The apartment is located within a wall of the old city of Ragusa. The problem is that it has only 2 tiny tiny windows, there is little air and no ventilation at all. We had to turn the AC all the time and it was cold and not pleasant. My husband has Astma and it was difficult for him to breathe. No natural light at all. the apartment is very dark.

Very friendly, helpful owners. As instructed, I rang the owners as we arrived in Ragusa and Francesco (?) guided us while we drove to the centre of town. There, Georgio, met us and took us to the accommodation. He helped with the luggage and advised where to park. The suite was well located, clean and comfortable. We were delighted.
