The houses of rising sun with a stunning sea view

We (3 adults) and our little daughter stayed at Molarotto from September 3rd to September 13th, 2023, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was due, in part, to the lovely apartment with its magnificent view, and also to the very kind landlords. I want to emphasize that we received exactly the apartment we had booked, and this would be the case for all other guests as well - I am convinced. The 1.0 rating from September 13th, 2023, I perceive as frustration and sour grapes stemming from own errors when booking the apartment! To be clear, we were present when the reviewer from September 13th, 2023, and their group disputed with the landlords. Just to mention a few details, they demanded that we be evicted from our apartment to accommodate them. This was accompanied by personal attacks that we found completely unwarranted! If someone expects conditions similar to those at home (driveway), then I have a tip: it's better to stay home! We loved our stay and would choose to spend our vacation at Molarotto again anytime. We can definitely recommend this accommodation without hesitation!

There is nothing to complain about. And whenever we needed assistance with something, the landlords were always very helpful.

There is nothing to like about this place. none of the rooms matched the advertised pictures of the "villa." it was not a villa at all. upon arrival, the host offered us a dark and dingy bottom floor apartment with old, out dated furniture and an enclosed outside area facing a swamp - not isola tavolora as depicted on booking.com. the photos on booking.com depict a contemporary design, open floor plan, and beautiful views. this is complete false advertising! there is not one photo of the rooms offered to us in this listing - obviously because they are not desirable. you can also see a review from August 31 where the couple make the same claim.

This place is atrocious. Everything is horrible from the location, to the driveway, to the grounds, to the couple who rent it out, to the rooms and property itself. totally not what is depicted in the listing. it was not a villa. just a dark little apartment with other families booked on different floors. it was not private and 100% not what we signed up for. needless to say, we did not stay. the accommodations were appalling and no where near our families standards. since the host offers no compensation, I am disputing the cost with my credit card due to fraud. I wish I had taken some photos of the place, but we were so upset about the situation, especially after driving 3 hours and looking forward to the last leg of our trip - a beautiful and private villa. we then had to scramble to find new accommodations for that night and the rest of our trip. furthermore, the hosts were not very communicative regarding check-in, and a lot of the times did not respond. just a horrible experience all around!

The location was perfect for visiting the beach and the beach itself is easily accessible, free parking, clean water, umbrellas and loungers available to rent etc, you do need a car in my opinion to see other sites like San Teodoro or Olbia and to visit more lively areas. The view from the apartment was stunning and the picture will stay with us 😍

The area we stayed in was perhaps a little too quiet for us, it was peaceful and it wasn’t difficult to drive to nearby towns, but if I were to visit again I’d probably stay in San Teodoro
