Villa Raffaella

The location is a perfect base for exploring Lecce and the adriatic coast. Rafaella was a superb host and offered advice and some local treats at the beginning of our stay. The property offers great inside and outside space for relaxing or entertaining.

A beautiful property in the countryside with a delightful garden. The property was comfortable, and secure. You can easily walk to the coast in about 30 minutes and drive to Lecce in 15 minutes. The host was incredibly generous with some local foods and plenty of advice. Recommended.

The location little far from Lecce

Great location close to the beach and short drive to Lecce.

Lovely isolated and quiet location. Large garden with two lovely green lawns and plenty of shade, our dog loved it! Well equipped and stocked. Very comfortable large double bed, able to keep cool during the night with the windows open ( flyscreens ), without the need for using the air-conditioning Raffaella is an excellent host, warm and willing to help if required, and even arranging a dental appointment for me. Well provisioned local shop nearby. Lecce only 20 minutes away, a great city to visit. Please try a Pucce, the local speciality bread lunch snack made from semolina flour, and potato, with a huge variety of fillings! It's much better than Pizza or the mundane burger! Have discovered you can buy them frozen in London! Lucky Londoners.

Kitchen and leaving room with good space /exterior with a lot of space. Good reception by Raffaella.

Some problems with the shower.. long time to heat the water and low pressure. In the winter the house seems very wet.

A spacious holiday house in a secluded location, ideal for travelers with a car, family, and pets. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cookware, a spacious living room with a television, two separate bedrooms with beds for 5 people, and a beautiful large yard and surroundings. Everything is very clean. The host welcomed us with a sweet surprise. I highly recommend it for those who love peace or need a few days to escape into solitude and nature. Shops and restaurants are a bit more distant, so a car is necessary for visiting them. Beaches and the town of Lecce are nearby and accessible by car.

Quiet, spacious, well equipped with everything you need. Great outside spaces too in a Great location for a base to explore the region. And a great, gracious and very helpful host.
