This accommodation is absolutely fantastic! It was an unforgettable experience for us to stay in a cave, where we felt comfortable when it was very hot outside and pleasantly cool inside. The house is well equipped with everything we needed, the bed is comfortable, the bed linen and towels are sparkling white! It was wonderful to enjoy a delicious coffee in the garden in the morning and to sit there with a glass of wine in the evening. We also loved the location - so close to all the sights! The flexible accommodation was especially appreciated by us! Matera is magic and Chiara's place is the best place to get to know and love it! Thank you, Chiara!

Love the authentic cave living. The location is in center of the old town - you can walk to everywhere. Chiara is very easy to work with and very responsive. She left delicious breakfast. I highly recommend to stay at this place .

Some smell and slow hot water.

A real cave house in a superb location in the Sassi. Breakfast of fresh focaccia and croissant from Martino's Forno nei Sassi, just up the road, accompanied by a good selection of products provided by Chiara. All the information you require to park the car, find and access the house etc. is provided online with a video! If you don't have a smartphone, Chiara will welcome you in person.

We had a lovely stay very unique. Location was perfect for us. The host was very helpful and even left us lactose free snacks which was very thoughtful. The beds were all comfortable for us and facilities all equipped for self catering if required.
