Todo, un lugar precioso!!

La sofá cama fue bastante incomoda.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay at this property. It had an amazing view and a huge garden for one kids to walk around.

Sometimes difficult to find parking but overall we always managed

Prachtige accommodatie dichtbij het Comomeer! Alles was erg netjes bij aankomst! Alles oogt nieuw. Leuk 'huisje'/appartement met een ruime beneden verdieping (met eigen complete keuken, fijn zit gedeelte tafel- bank-, ruime badkamer) en daarnaast een bovenverdieping waar de slaapkamer en 2e badkamer zich bevindt. Verhuurders waren ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prettig en snel contact via Whatsapp bij eventuele vragen tussendoor. Mooie aangrenzende tuin waar je gebruik van kunt maken, eigen terras.

Het parkeren was soms wat lastiger in de smalle/stijle straat indien er al meerdere auto's op de kleinere parkeerplaats stonden. Verder niets aan te merken!

If you don’t have a car, there is quite a bit of uphill walking involved from the centre, but it is lovely and quiet up there

The apartment was excellent, comfortable spotless and a lovely terrace with stunning views. We were delighted to see a washing machine after a week of hotels. Kitchen was well equipped so well that we decided to cook rather than eat in restaurants ( you can get tired of that). The terrace is a beautiful spot with table and chairs to dine out. Even a good table cloth was provided. The kitchen had a dishwasher and tablets were provided for it and the washing machine. A home from home. Very comfortable large bed. The mill conversion from a ruin to stunning apartments is a tribute to the young owners. Claudia in particular was a lovely host. Calico has a ferry service that allows you to visit all the towns in the area. We got a later ferry in Bellano a few km down the road as we were too late for the Calico one. We enjoyed our lazy breakfast on the terrace. A wonderful place to relax

It was a good bit out of the town so we used our car which was fine but I wouldn’t like to walk with no paths and very uphill. The electricity supply is problematic in the area and will switch off if you use a lot of appliances at the same time. Not a problem once you know. Too many instructions to read when you arrive after a long journey but understandable as the owners are keen to keep their apartments in the pristine state they are in. Breakfast €13-€22 pp delivered to the apartment was a bit expensive for us but the supermarket was nearby.

I have written many of these reviews over the years, and I honestly will say that this place is the best have ever say that through booking.com. The place is immaculate and Claudia and Lorenzo are a fantastic host and really made us feel as if we were in their home and friends of their family. The work they have done to restore the mill is all inspiring, and you can really see their commitment to this project and the love that they have put into it as you talk about it with them. For me, the reason this went well above normal care from a host is that we had had an issue with our car rental and so unexpectedly showed up without a car to this area. Claudia helped to arrange a taxi for us (which can be difficult defined in Colico) And then went above and beyond to help us get out to purchase groceries in her own car as well as to drive us to catch boats and pick us up to bring us back to her place. We were travelling with a 94-year-old lady and our time could have easily gone very sideways, but Claudia single-handedly not only save her trip, but made it into an incredibly memorable one.

There is absolutely nothing that could’ve been done better. Everything was above and beyond expectations.

Beautiful quiet setting. Wonderful hosts. Great apartment with Kitchen that had everything needed.

Clean and comfortable great to cook your own meal.

Shower was very small. Bedding was ok but needed a top sheet.
