The house was spacious and well-supplied. Good beds, beautiful and enjoyable surroundings, including dog and cats and goats. Nice covered space outside for eating as well. The location requires driving to visit places, but we liked being in a quieter spot, and it was well-situated for the different places we visited during our stay. The price was less than alternatives and made it a great value for us.

We had a delay entering the property. We arrived by the end of our scheduled check-in hour, but the hosts had left earlier. They had messaged me earlier in the day through WhatsApp, but I don't have or use the app so I didn't know. And they hadn't seen my message to them in booking.com confirming that we would arrive by the end of our scheduled hour. Fortunately the owner of the adjoining unit stopped by and called the hosts, who drove back to give us keys and let us in. The hosts were great, though, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The one air conditioning unit is in the main room and didn't seem to blow very cold; the weather was very hot during our stay and sometimes it struggled to keep the room cool. It didn't cool the bedrooms, and one of the bedrooms just has a door without a screen, so there wasn't a way to ventilate it and stay cooler at night.

Valeria the owner, and her family, went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out when we were stranded on the way to the villa from the airport, following an accident in our hire car. She gave us a lift from nearby Sedini, and also to the supermarket in Valledoria the next day, while we waited for a replacement car. Indeed, all the locals are extremely friendly and helpful. The villa is set in the hills near the coast, and surrounded by a lovely vineyard and orchard. The beach is only a 10 minute drive away.

What's not to like? You will definitely need a car or bike if you are staying here, as there is no public transport nearby.
