This place is amazing! Sicilian tiles, designer armature in the bathroom, tasteful art hanging on the walls, not to mention a complete working kitchen, an upstairs sleeping area, 1 1/2 baths, and a lovely courtyard to hang out in at the end of the day, Historic Modica offered my family plenty of space and a comfortable and enjoyable break from this year's very hot Sicilian summer. Located on a side street in the upper city, there is no car traffic. Well worth the price.

Located in Modica alta, it takes a while to get to Modica bassa ( location of the main pedestrian area, Corso Umberto 1 ) by foot. I like to walk but others might not.
