Amazing place on the slope of Etna. The host Gabriella is exceptionally hospitable and her pistachio cupcake were delicious. The location is perfect for those who love nature and silence.

Location at the base of Etna surrounded by orange and lemon trees. Clean and neat with good communication from the hosts Gabriella and Alfio. They provided milk as it was a Sunday and the supermarkets were closed and also provided wine, biscuits and fruit to welcome us. Nearest supermarkets are about 5-10 minutes car drive away. Very close to Zafferana etnae and Santa Venerina villages/towns but it helps to have a car to get there. There was a handy cupboard where you could buy additional fruit, eggs from the hens in the garden, locally-produced wine, limoncello, olive oil etc. Parking in the premises. Wifi was good. Hot water in the shower! Host helped to organise a walk up Mount Etna with an amazing traditional Sicilian food/local-produce for a delicious picnic. Would highly recommend this - Alfio was great. Our Italian was very poor but Alfio still helped us to have a sense of the national park and the volcano and caves. Gabriella very helpful with recommendations. Be aware about putting food and opened fruit into containers as there are lots of ants around - very normal. A wonderful stay. Thank you for your kindness Gabriella and family.

This is not a criticism but something to help them improve their excellent offer - it would be useful to make it clear on the site when the swimming pool is operational and that it is closed for the winter months (which months could be specified) - this is understandable but its useful to have clarity while making the booking.

Great location for discovering Etna, Taormina and Catania, the delicious treats from welcoming hosts, the fresh eggs available every morning. Beautiful terrace, bbq and pool area to relax and enjoy.

The property was beautiful. I loved the space for the kids to run around and feel free amongst the lemon trees. The hosts were delightful and kind.

Gifts: a bottle of domestic wine, a domestic orange and pear marmalade, and Easter cookies for the kids. The hosts are a very kind and pleasant couple. The place is uniquely decorated, clean, and cozy. Perfect for families with kids.
