An absolute jewel of a holiday home. Accommodation has been renovated in the last few years to a very high spec. We had 3 children with us and they loved the outdoor space and playground. There were travel cots and high chairs on site too. It's set in a really quiet and rural area, only 7 minutes drive from the big town of Alberobello which is a UNESCO heritage site with lots of cafes, shops and restaraunts. Also only 15 minutes drive from Fasano zoosafari/amusement park. Top of the range cooking facilities, with indoor and outdoor kitchen and barbeque.

It was all perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the swimming pool as it was an unseasonably cool and wet Easter. The facilities looked excellent.

We had a great time with the family. Everyone had a good sized room and plenty of space outdoors too. Great location for walks in the countryside and some good restaurants just a few minutes drive away.

Truly Trulli has been a fantastic place to stay. We had the entire place which consists of 2 houses attached. Staying in a Trulli is a real treat and gives a sence of authenticity and true holiday. The villas were very clean and the quality of the beds and beddings was excellent. There is an outdoor kitchen which we used all week and a seperate outdoor bathroom which is great after coming from the beach to avoid spreading sand everywhere. There is a lot of outdoor space and a lovely Olive tree garden. We were welcomed by the mother of the owner, Paola, the most welcoming host, sharing her knowledge and love of the region (in French or Italian, but google translate works well). We were invited to use the products of the vegetable garden throuhout our stay. (tomates, aubergines, peppers, butternut squash, figs…) We were interested in learning about the local gastronomy, Paola organised a cooking morning with Antonella. It was wonderful, we made Foccacia, Orrichiette pasta, Beef Braciole and Intorchiate (almond biscuits). We also loved visiting Itria Bonta, a mozzarella cheese farm 0km production… (from the farm cows' milk to the making of the Mozzarella, Burrata… )The owner is a passionate farmer that really enjoyed sharing his products. We also had a go at making our mozzarella ourselves. We ended the tour in his kitchen having a lovely homemade lunch with the products of the farm. We also visited a wine merchant in Alberobello and had a lovely traditional meal at Giu Ulvi a restaurant near the Conad shop. The pizzas at Rotolo (the nearest pizza restaurant 50m away from the villa) were amazing, especially the chocolate one! The village is very quiet so we had a lot of rest, the Pool was clean and the view from it was lovely. Overall, we had a lovely stay as a family with teenagers.

We booked the whole place which meant we had lots of space with sole use of the pool. The property is well equipped with most basics provided including food cupboard supplies, lilos for the pool and fresh vegetables to pick from the garden. The village is within short walking distance with a bar/restaurant, post office, bank and small grocery store. Our host was very friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Trulli and exploring the local area

The recycling was a bit confusing, but really this was not an issue in the end as the host sorted this out for us.
