Dafne Home

The apartment was clean and well maintained. Loved the pool and sun loungers. Communication with Patrizia was easy and she replied very quickly. The air conditioning was good and very welcomed. Out side was well maintained and very comfortable. The bottle of water, salt and pepper was much appreciated too. Good parking space around the corner from the apartment. Overall, happy with our stay and would recommend, especially for those with a car as buses stop running early evening.

The apartment was lovely but missing a few kitchen basics. I messaged Patrizia for a toaster, breakfast bowls and more coat hangers, all of which were dropped off really quickly. Could have done with a good kitchen knife for cutting vegetables but she didn’t have one. Also cold have done with a few more mugs, small bowls and tall / beer glasses. The apartment is about 20-30 minute walk from Pompei and the nearest shop was about 15 minute walk toward Pompei. Could have done with a few more food basics, such as Olive Oil and some spare bed sheets. Overall though very happy with the apartment and would recommend.

Do not stay here unless u have a car. Too far out from the Square in Pompeii.the bus service is very unreliable and stops at 630. You definitely need to be driving. Also there is a large yard next door can be noisy early in the morning.

Clean, comfortable, air conditioned, plenty of space for two adults two children. Excellent shared swimming pool; small but perfect for bobbing about to cool off after long days in the heat seeing the sights. View of Vesuvius (and the distant wild fires!) from the balcony. Safe and secure. Neapolitan people are warm and friendly.

Location feels authentically amongst the people who live and work near Pompei. There is a bus service with bus stop right outside but you will need quite a bit of extra cash for taxis when the bus isn’t running. For provisions you have to think ahead as you can’t really nip out for extras.

Patrizia met us at check in and showed us to our apartment. She explained everything in detail. Patrizia made sure to be available if we needed anything. The property is clean and well maintained. We had an upstairs apartment, no lift but we didn’t need one as we are capable of climbing 2 flights. The apartment is clean with cooking accessories and plenty of towels and toilet paper. We rented a car and the parking is free on sight. We appreciated having a washer too! There are small grocery stores within a 15 minute walk and a big grocery store in the city center. The location of the apartment was convenient to see and visit everything we wanted. We also spent time in the pool area which was great! We would definitely stay here again. One review stated it is in an industrial area. It is not in an industrial area. There is an old factory that obstructs some view of the mountains but there is still a beautiful view of the city center and mountains. The neighbourhood felt safe and we felt safe. Driving in Italy is another story hahaha!

Absolutely fantastic, wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Very close to Pompei and walkable to the town. Apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The pool and patio area were lovely

No shampoo/shower gel in the dispensers but we had our own so not an issue

the property was very clean and the garden area was kept very neat, the host was friendly and welcoming, parking was ideal good location for getting to main tourist sights by car

There could have been some more information left in the apartment showing the location of local facilities close to the accommodation such as supermarkets bakeries etc -

The apartment feels like a boutique hotel, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bed linens are gorgeous. The pool is perfect, and we made good use of the gas BBQ. The kitchen is more than adequate for our needs. However, the absolute highlight of Dafne is the host, Patrizia. She is warm, welcoming, and extremely accommodating, always quick to respond to calls or texts. I accidentally left some jewelry behind and only realized it the following week. When I contacted Dafne, Patrizia hadn't noticed it initially but, after I described where it might be, she found it and kindly offered to send it to my home in Ireland. She even followed up weeks later to ensure it had arrived safely.

The view beyond the beautiful pool area from the back balcony is industrial and a bit rundown. However, this didn’t impact our stay at all, and our kids are already asking to come back!

Our stay at the Dafne Home was incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how modern and impeccably clean it was. The beds, including the sofa bed, were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we all had a good night’s sleep. The TV came with Netflix, which was a fantastic bonus, especially since we stayed for three weeks….the WiFi covered both the house and pool area 🧡 The air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom was fabulous and very much appreciated in the sweltering summer heat. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for a small family, making it easy to prepare meals at home. One of our favorite features was the spacious patio, which had a comfortable sofa and an excellent gas BBQ – ideal for enjoying the outdoors. The pool and hot tub were both brilliant and, like the rest of the property, very clean. The cleaners were thorough and diligent, arriving every morning and evening without fail, which really added to our comfort. The location was also great. We were just a 25-minute walk or a 4-minute drive from the city center. The secure car park was a big plus for us, providing peace of mind for our vehicle. Additionally, it was only a 25-minute drive to Naples Airport and about 30 minutes to Vietri sul Mare, part of the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay.
