Casa Clò

The house is spacious and well equipped - plenty of in and outdoor space to relax in whatever the weather. Lovely views from the terrace where there was usually a nice breeze and plenty of shade even when very hot. A nice quiet road on the outskirts of a nice town with shops and restaurants within a 10 min drive. Elio was the perfect host - unobtrusive but kind and ready to answer questions and help in any way he could so that we could make the most of our holiday. It was a fantastic holiday home!

Be warned - you will definitely need a car as there isn't much near the house in easy walking distance but you will probably want a car to explore the island anyway.

We felt really comfortable. Elio is an extremely helpful host and he gives great advice. The house is very charming with a great view. There are also enough dishes in the kitchen and it is equipped with everything you need.

The shower may be a little small for tall people.

A very cosy house. Super clean and the host is very friendly and he understands. Although he lives upstairs you have all your privacy and he helps you if you need anything. The view only one word AMAZING. Thank you Elio. Hope we will see you again :)

Simply superb house, Too well equipped, terrific hosts, very friendly and active Lampo! Big enough for large families, great garden and plenty of sofas to relax/ unwind. Great view from the front porch and perfect swing in the back. Perfect location for visiting Etna.

Absolutely none.

I liked everything: Elio was super for our pet and tried to make the experience as great as possible. Always available to answer questions and give info. Elio is A very friendly and easy going person. He has a pleasant, calm demeanor. The interior alone deserves a 10! Very authentic and I especially liked the story behind the house and the items. If I had more time, I would have loved hearing more of the history off the house and its occupants. Further more everything was clean, good wifi connection and a good location to visit Syracuse, Etna and Taormina. The location of the house is Easily accessible by car. Great kitchen so you do not have to go out for diner if you don’t want to. The villages around the house are great as well. I really experienced local life. There are also nice authentic restaurants nearby and the locals are super friendly and proud that you visit this area and they go out their way to help in anyway they can. Overall great experience! It‘s a spacious and very well equipped flat on the ground floor with beautiful terraces and a garden. You will find everything you need including lovely views of nature and the sea. The owners - Ekaterina and Elio - live upstairs and are very nice and caring hosts. They showed us the surroundings, gave us many tipps, were always approachable and helped us with our car. They have a lovely dog - Lampo - who was allowed to spend some time with us because we enjoyed his presence very much. Thank you very much for everything! We look forward to return one day.
