Residenza Su Prelau

I had the privilege of staying in this amazing apartment, and it truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness by Andrea and his parents, Giulio and Gemma. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home, and they were always available to offer helpful suggestions for local attractions and things to do. The family-run property is lovely, with several beautifully designed apartments that exude charm and attention to detail. The complex itself is not only aesthetically pleasing but also extremely well-maintained. The shared roof terrace offers a stunning view of the sea, making it a truly special feature of the property. The apartment was exceptional - spacious, cozy, and impeccably clean. The thoughtful details in the furnishings added a personal touch that made it feel like home. I also appreciated the fast and reliable internet, which made it easy to stay connected throughout my stay. The location is unbeatable - there's free parking right in front of the apartment, and it's so easy to access from the main road. A gas station, supermarket, and a breathtaking beach are all nearby, not to mention plenty of sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding area. All in all, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. Lovely characterful place to stay. It felt very rustic and remote but was only a short walk into Gonnesa for shopping and restaurants. Such a beautiful area, a few minutes drive to a big sandy beach. Really interesting former mining area for anyone who enjoys industrial archaeology; a drive to Nebida is highly recommended, the sea views from the cliff promenade in this former mining town are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful people.

The property entrance is easy to miss, it’s a small track right on the junction with the SS126.

It is located in a great place to visit that area and also further south like the islands. There are good restaurants nearby and good bakeries too. The apartment was on the groundfloor and the owners also lived there (on the upper floor). Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The house is surrounded by a very good sized garden with areas where one can relax in peace. There is parking on the property (which is safe even for kids because there is a gate at the entrance). We were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids of 7 and 8 years). There is also a fireplace for who goes in Winter and a private outdoor space in the shade (the resident dog, Eddie, was adorable too). Located about 1hr from Cagliari.

We would definitely go again to this property. It was lovely. If the property was mine and I wanted to improve something I would improve the mattresses' quality (quite bouncy/soft). But other than that it was perfect :)

Lovely place close to Gonnesa. We liked the cozy atmosphere sitting outside at night or for breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was also well-equipped allowing for proper cooking. The host was very friendly and helpful and reacted quickly to any inquiries. Definitely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful stay at Residenza Su Prelau. Andrea and his family gave us a warm welcome and were always there when we had a question or else. The estate offered many adventures for our children. They loved the dog, the cats and the turtles. They were also allowed to explore the garden and harvest some food, which enriched our evening meal. These included tomatoes, courgettes and fresh herbs - what a treat! The arrangement of the apartments provided plenty of privacy. The private loggia was super and the roof terrace with a view of the sea was especially great at sunset! Many thanks

Good and friendly reception. The owners are kind! The house was cleaned! The kitchen was well equipped with utensils for cooking. Nice area, outside for dining, and there was a great common terrace to watch the sunset. Good air conditioning (although it faces the bed and it doesn't cool the bunk bed area very much).

Toilet paper - there was a used roll, and the owners said we had to buy more. Exceptionally, they gave us another one. Trash bags - there were none, and the owners said we had to buy them. Water - only on the 3rd day did we discovered that there was a sign, which was lying on the counter, saying that the water couldn't be drunk from the tap. Sheets - we had to pay €10 per person for the sheets, and they were terrible. Mattresses - really bad mattresses: we woke up several times with back and neck pain. Terrace light - very bright. Wi-Fi: works quite poorly. Shower curtain: it's shorter than the base, so it's It's impossible not to wet the whole floor.
