"Stylish atmospheric original conversion of a listed building in the old town"

It’s a 400 year old property finished in a baroque style well within the old town about three minutes from the Napoli Gate. Very large property , high vaulted ceilings, lovely inner courtyard. Ask to see photos of the frescoes found during the conversion.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the vacation home was more like an Italian villa, full of history, antiques, and even a courtyard. The host, Paola, went out of her way to meet us, offer suggestions, and even gave us a ride to our car when we left! The house we stayed in had two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, breakfast room, and a delightful courtyard. I highly recommend that you stay here!

The whole property was beautiful, centrally located in the historic district, clean, and supplied with water, snacks, and provisions for tea and coffee. We especially liked our host, Paola!

"Excellent base to explore lecce"

Great location for a few days sightseeing in Lecce. Lovely cool rooms and pretty courtyard for relaxing. Good kitchen facilities with freezer for ice cream! We didn’t cook as lots of local restaurants to choose from. Two keys provided which meant we could be independent.

One bedroom doesn’t have any windows but you could leave the door to courtyard open to let in air.

In keeping with the real vibe of Lecce, it was very nice to have stayed in this property with beautiful architecture that gave a sense of living in another time. No stairs in this spacious, comfortable apt and within short walking distance to many good restaurants and attractions. The owner is very helpful, accommodating and prompt with communication throughout. Definitely recommending to others.
