La Villa Tanca Piras

The house is exactly as pictured. The location and view are exceptional. There is a washing machine in the bathroom, microwave, oven, gas hob, toaster and coffee machine (Lavazza capsules) in the kitchen, very efficient AC downstairs and in both bedrooms. The smaller bedroom has twin beds (on some pictures it had another double). Beds were very comfortable. The pool was great, open 9:15 am till 8pm. At the weekend it closes between 1 and 3 pm. We had several meals at the restaurant in the complex (you have to book in advance) and they were delicious with good service. The Nebida village restaurants and shops are very convenient and a 10 minute walk away. Lots of walks, beaches and activities in the area. Masua beach offers boat trips, kayaking and is next to Porto Flavia mine.

The 2 storey villa apartment with a covered parking space below the balcony is located in a small holiday-housing complex on the fringes of Nebida, overlooking the sea, with private pool and gated access, and a very good restaurant. There are pathways in the gardens leading to the wonderful cliffs overlooking the sea, from which you can view the spectacular sunsets. What really made our stay outstanding, apart from the location, was our host, Morena. From the moment she personally greeted us upon arrival at the gates outside of the complex, before showing us around the house, to the welcome booklet she has written in various languages detailing all the local sightseeing spots worth visiting, throughout our holiday she always went at lengths to ensure that our stay was perfect in every way. You can tell that the spacious villa apartment is her pride and joy, as it is meticulously looked after, very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and with all the creature comforts you may wish for. Even small but fine details such as a set of earbuds in each bathroom and welcome drinks in the fridge show that Morena loves her job and cares for her guests. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay!

The restaurant in the holiday complex was unwelcoming and rude - a pity as it was a beautiful location and would be so convenient for guests. This is out of control of the host / apartment though

View was absolutely stunning. Pool was quiet. Great for a recharge of batteries!

Beware that bedroom three doesn’t have air conditioning. Very rural area, so if arriving on Sunday particularly , be aware that supermarkets could be closed even during advertised hours.

Super nice, clean accommodation with a view of the sea and the mountains! We felt very comfortable and welcome. From the bedrooms and the terrace you can look directly out to the sea to the island of Sant Anticio. The hostess Morena is just great and helpful! We would not hesitate to come back :)

There are very few restaurants in the area. The opening hours are not always reliable.

Beautiful property and location; plenty of space, clean and tidy. Ale was very attentive when we had issues, and this is sorted out swiftly.

The pool was out of use for the duration of the stay.

Beautiful location, loved the village too. Very nice people everywhere. Host is excellent. Answers any question in minutes, gave loads of tips what to do.

Place needs more maintenance. Everything works, but some thing are loose (shower) or hard to operate (shades)

The house is in a fenced community and comes with a parking space. The flat had everything we needed for the stay. There are two mini markets about 10min by foot. A main hiking trail is directly connected to the area. The most beautiful beaches can be reached by foot or by car. We stayed mostly in this area, because it was no need to travel far. Most beautiful sunset we had directly from the terrace.

Some restaurants close after the main season, so we very a bit unlucky. Inform you about opening hours for the mini markets also! Nothing to add :)
