Casa Carlotta

The apartment is quite spacious and in a great location to access the old town/Port and a short walk to the beach. The host was lovely! The beds were comfortable and it was great to have the use of a kitchen & washing machine while travelling with kids. The balcony was nice to sit and enjoy a drink or a coffee in the morning and there are 2 supermarkets and lots of cafes/restaurants nearby.

Nothing to dislike! The stairs are a little steep as mentioned in other reviews but I wouldn’t let that put you off - we would definitely stay here again!

Nothing to dislike

We liked everything about it: the entire design and attention to details, the very engaging and nice host, who waited for us with a few things in the fridge, and explained whatever piece of information we needed + (and this is a huge plus) its location: near a market, a pharmacy, city centre & old town + 10 mins on foot to a cute sandy beach. Monopoli has a really beautiful cathedral, and was overall a chic town to explore and discover a little bit of Puglia!

There are a couple of flights of stairs, but one instantly forgets as you enter the apartment. The decor is charming…

Everything was perfect; even nicer than looking on the fotos. Mariella is a perfect hostess; we can absolutely recommend Casa Carlotta. There is enough space for families with two children.

We stayed at Casa Carlotta for a week and used it as a hub for touring that area of Puglia. We were sad leaving Casa Carlotta, its that good! Mariella and her daughter Carlotta were fantastic hosts...attentive, responsive, warm and friendly. The apartment was an absolute ten, from design to decor to furnishings. Location was fantastic, about a two minute walk from the old town. Try Caffe Crema around the corner, restaurants abound, several small supermercados withing a five minute walk. For first time visitors to Monopoli I would recommend Casa Carlotta over similar accommodation in the old town, access in and out is much easier. Grazie mille Mariella and Carlotta

Fantastic quiet location close to the main square, waterfront and train station. The property is large, clean and well appointed. Our host, Mariella, was extremely helpful in assisting us with planning activities, booking restaurants etc.
