Es waren nicht an allen Fenstern Fliegengitter. Deshalb konnte bei der Hitze kein richtiger Durchzug erzeugt werden.

This authentic Italian farmhouse had the pleasant blend of rustic simplicity and modern conveniences. It is located very close to services (including a wonderful coffee house not far away) as the ubiquitous Esselunga supermarket, but sufficiently off the beaten track to provide quiet, peace and lovely views from it's hillside perch. The house was cool on hot summer days, quiet, and welcoming after a day of sightseeing around the countryside. Nestled among olive tree groves, the ever changing cloudscape providing an inspirational background for photos, it is a pleasant pastoral house with space for outdoor entertaining. We'd take cheese, bread, olives and wine to the terrace and watch the birds, clouds and trees colors change in the advancing glimmering evening light. Chiara, the host, went above and beyond her cheerful and caring self to assist me with advice and help when needed. I truly appreciate her willingness to help me with a complex request. Above all, this was a retreat from the slick and devoid of personality stays. My fiend said it reminded him of his home in Argentina. For me, it was a touching reminder if my Sicilian grandparents home in Santa Barbara County, California. The memories of a pleasant childhood flooded back, adding another layer of enjoyment to our stay. One word if advice: take the one lane road up the hill slowly, and dint hesitate to beep your horn on blind curves. I found it useful, as the navigator, to make an effort to look far ahead to see if an opposing vehicle was coming down the lane. In our stay, we only net one other car, and it was a Smart Car; they squeezed past us successfully. All in all, a great place to immerse yourself in a sincerely authentic way of life in a truly lovely area!

Truly, there is nothing not to like. There are dogs on the property, and they like to visit at your door. If you don't like dogs, Chiara will encourage them to mind their own business. One bedroom, quite large. Has a double, or matrimonial, bed. It is a bit low to the floor fir creaky, older bodies, but comfy. The single room had two single beds; quite comfy. The annex by the open plan kitchen/sitting room has an additional single bed, which we only used for my oversize suitcase.it
