Villa Gelsomina

Beautiful apartment, large space with beautiful views up the hill from ravello. The host is amazing and thorough and checked in with us every day to make sure we were ok. Even baked a cake and gave us fresh fruit!

Only small thing (and very small) was there was a road between the garden and the views which we didn’t realise.

Pride of ownership, care & well being of patrons in abundance with this villa suite. Sabrina is genuine & top! For the three nights we spent, it felt like home to us. You won't be disappointed.

Road noise can be a bit loud at certain times of the day if the windows are open....but life is for the living, so in the grand scheme of things, nothing more than a mild nuisance.

firstly, the owner was so kind and considerate. she was helpful all throughout our trip. Whether it be helping us call taxis, order motorbikes ect! and she had left cake and fruit and juice and milk there for us upon arrival. a sweet and thoughtful gesture. there’s great facilities like the kitchen, laundry ect! comfy bed. it’s nice walking to Ravello Center.

Villa Gelsomina is a hidden gem! Away from all of the busy hotels downtown Ravello. The space is white, clean and minimalist which is exactly how we like our spaces. The walk to Ravello town square is around 10 minutes only and boasts some really amazing views. We loved walking to and from the town square each day. We stayed in the Iris suite which is on the second floor and has two balconies with French doors that open to a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains and down to Minori. Our host, Sabrina, was so warm and welcoming to us upon arrival and greeted us with a lemon cake! The kitchen has everything you need if you have an extended stay. Sabrina would check in with us via WhatsApp to make sure we had what we needed and offered recommendations for places to see and good restaurants. Our last night in town she even got us reservations at a sold out restaurant! If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend eat plus since the balconies sit right above the road into the city from Naples. But with ear plugs, we didn’t hear much noise at all. Each suite has a private garden area with views of the mountains, sea and the city of Minori, which is really beautiful during the day and night. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a private and quiet place to day trip out to the surrounding cities on the Amalfi coast. 10/10, amazing property! Thank you Sabrina!

The host was excllent. The view was super.

Sabrina met us at the villa and had organized a cab ride for us from the airport. As we were arriving late in the evening she had kindly bought us groceries as requested and baked the most delicious lemon cake ive ever tasted! On top of that she let me see both villas so I could choose the one that served me best, which was so so kind. She really goes out of her way to make sure you have the loveliest of stays. The Villa has lovely touches in addition to being really tastefully decorated like the lit stairs to the garden and the additional optional blue light that adds a lovely hue in the bathroom which has a great roomy shower. The garden has a breathtaking view and you can take a lovely walk into Ravello or take the steep but rewarding steps down to Minori, or there are buses to Amalfi and the seaside towns and ferries to Portofino. All are lovely but I honestly loved Ravello the most. The beds were super comfortable too. I have wanted to go to the Amalfi coast for ages and it really was everything I hoped for, Thank you Sabrina for making us so welcome.
