Capo Ognina

We had a wonderful visit to Catania. We used this location as a jumping off point to see the various places nearby. This location was great for a person with a car since it is located inside a boat sales & repair shop. The gated entry was locked at night and there was a guardian who stays on the property as well. The unit is a renovated cottage with thick plastered stone walls. The interior doesn’t have windows, but the light paint and renovation is very good. We stayed 4 days and felt like Frederica was our friend. There was access to a bus just up the street to get you into town. The bus on the restaurant strip was no longer using that route, but you go a block up to the bridge and wait there. Also, this is near a train stop, but we didn’t use the train. We visited Taormina, Siracusa, and Ortigia, as well as Catania from this cottage. We felt safe and knew that our car was safe. Frederica gave us keys to the gate, the courtyard, and the cottage so we had all the access we needed at anytime of the day. Lots of food options nearby.

Ubicación, parking, los sercicios del alojamiento y sobre todo la amabilidad de la anfitriona, atenta en todo momento, hizo quw todo fuese muy sencillo.
