Kurodani House

Driving up to the property was a challenge but we managed to get there as the host waited for our arrival which helped a lot. It's the personal touch that made our stay a great experience. We love the house as it has such unique structure with its internal wooden beam. The staircase in the house is steep but if you go up and down like how you would climb a ladder, it's pretty easy.

I don't think the parking challenge can be resolved as the property sits in a neighbourhood which is from an older era hence the narrow lanes and lack of parking space. I did manage to park my rental MPV in the garage and if you are up for the challenge, go for it!. However there are public paid parking bays within walking distance which helps.

Good location. Quite neighbourhood. Authentic Japanese house experience.

Too soft bed.

We loved the physical space of the home. It was both modern and rustic at the same time. We especially loved spending time in the outdoor deck.

I wish we had stayed longer. We absolutely loved this property.

It is quite difficult to find the house for the first time, but Google could find it by the address The road was narrow and steep and the car park is quite difficult to park if your car is not small enough, it will be easier to park the car if there was a wedge in front of the car park Tap water was freezing cold in the toilet Stairs in the house is quite steep for elder people but give for normal adults There was not enough illumination in front of the mirror in the bedroom for doing makeup, I have to do it in the bathroom
