100 years old traditional Kyoto Machiya townhouse - K's Villa

Beautiful house. Helpful staff. Beautiful location. I wish we could've stayed longer.

Can't think of much. Maybe late check-in. But honestly, I understand why and the level of cleanliness and thoughtfulness they put into preparing the house was worth it.

Amazing Staff 10/10 took us to the property and assisted us in our many questions. The property was amazing too, we had the non river view house and for 4 people it was great. The table, the futons and bed, it was all amazing. And we even got to use their bikes! Definitely recommend

Nothing it was amazing

Location was near several restaurants, cafes, and a brewery. The house itself was also equipped with a full sized kitchen.

Would not recommend for small kids as this is a traditional Japanese home with steep stairs and paper screen doors. Perfect for adults though.

We stayed on the street side and it was smaller than the River side but it was still very lovely! Authentic! My family and I absolutely loved our stay!!!

Amazing location next to he river that allowed us to enjoy the genuine Japanese house. this villa is superbe.

our daughter has to share the futon with us you need to pay a full price for an additional bed if you don’t want your child to share the futon with you in Europe you don’t have to explicit that your child needs a bed 😅 but futon are big and we decided anyhow not ot pay the additionalbed and it was good
