The house is spacious. Two families can definitely fit. And it is close to the lake and Yufuin Floral Village. The hot spring is nice.

"Exceeded expectations"

The place is massive! We were only 4 people but you could easily fit 2 families in this place. It had an outdoor private hot bath also. Location was within short walking distance of the northern part of Yufuin also.

Remember this is not staffed, so it is quite different to a Ryokan. The actual room you're getting is obviously superior to a ryokan (literally about 10x larger), however you don't have the charm of staff greeting you etc...
