"Excellent stay to experience the vintage Japanese townhouse"

Excellebt stay. Super clean and well equipped property. Located right in the center of Kurashiki. The house is huge for 2-4 people stay. It is one of the best stay I ever experience in Japan. Recommend if you want to experience the Japanese machiya for a short stay. Staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurant Bricole located just beside this building is also a fantastic choice for dinner.

The bread offered for morning breakfast could be better.

The best lodging on our 3 week Japan trip without a doubt - we've already rebooked this same machiya for our next trip. Loved pretty much everything about it - superb bath with heated floors, just a very charming property throughout.

A beautifully renovated machiya that balances heritage and modern comfort with great care. The handmade wooden furniture adds warmth and character, and the modern facilities are seamlessly integrated. I particularly enjoyed the CD player — a small, thoughtful detail that really suited the atmosphere. The courtyard is quiet and well considered, bringing light and calm into the space.
