Gangneung Haesolnaeeum Pension

Quiet environment in a residential area outside the city.

Nice apartment but rather far from the city centre. If you don't have a car, you will depend on a 20 minute bus connection.

The facility was great as the room was big enough for 2 people, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. There were also some plates, cups, wine glasses and a knife but didn't have any forks or spoons so you should prepare your own if you're planning to eat inside. But other than that, everything was fine. Also the place isn't too far away from the Anmok Beach (it's about 25 minutes by foot). There are lots of places to eat and the Anmok Cafe Street is right by the corner so you can visit the various cafes there as well. Also, the owner is really kind and understanding. We had to leave early in the morning but left something inside the room, so we had to call her to ask for the password to unlock the door. We felt really bad cause I think we woke her up, but she still picked up the phone and was very understanding! I texted her an apology for calling her so early in the morning, and she replied back with kind of words.
