Originally I had planned an 8 night trip but reduced it to 5 when a couple of people said there wasn't much to do in Chuncheon. They were wrong... I loved my time here and could have easily have spent 8 nights here. There is lots to do. I had no car and wasnt sure how I would find travelling. The location is close to a couple of bus stops and not far from a train station. There is also a cycle track which can take you around the lake. I am not much of a cyclist but as this was seperate from the road I felt safe the whole time. I only used a taxi once. For places which are a bit further like Nami Island and the Garden of Morning Calm There is a hop on hop off tourist bus which takes you to all of the main destinations. After weeks of moving every few days I wanted to find a location which was more relaxed but with things to do. As nice as a hanok stay is I also wanted to sleep in a proper bed and be able to sit on a sofa watch Netflix and cook my own food. There were lots of options for activities in the area but being right on the lake and surrounded by hills it was very peaceful. The host spoke limited English and I speak no Korean but we managed to communicate easily and he was incredibly helpful and kind even letting me use a bike during my stay. I would definately stay here again. The room was clean with a beautiful view

Nothing that I didn't like but it's worth knowing there is only a very small shop which basically sells packet noodles at the near by campsite.. There are two restaurants close by but these are not open every night. At the bus station there is a large supermarket. I recommend doing a shop before you arrive so that you have all you need.

The apartment is very clean and a good size. The views are incredible, and the host is very welcoming. A great location to explore the area.

호수뷰라 뷰도좋고 새로 리모델링을한것처럼 깨꿋해서 좋았어요 복층인데 위에도 매트가깔려있어서 잠자라도 불편하지않았습니다 편하게있다왔네요

하필 비가너무많이와서 제대로 베란다를 제대로즐기지못해아쉬웠네요 그리고 2층계단이 회전식이라 어르신들이 가신다면 1층을 추천합니다
