Riad AKL

We love the Riad, and the fact that there were only 3 rooms, so there were never so many people. The room and the bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The terrace also were clean, and very well organised. We loved to spend the evening there, to enjoy the fresh air. The hall and share areas where we had breakfast was also very nice. The manager Dawd was very friendly and helpful since the first contact, and Nawal, the lady working at the Riad it’s the most sweet and lovely girl we meet in town. She was helping us with all ours questions, she prepared the delicious breakfast, and was always there with a beautiful smile. We definitely would love to go back to Marrakech and stay in the same room and if we can bring some friends to fill the other rooms. We are already missing Nawal.

The only inconvenience we had was a couple that arrived at 1:30 am one night, and wake up us because they did so much noise, so much that I had to ask them to slow down the volume around 2:30 am. The next night they arrived around 11pm went to the terrace to smoke and put music very loud and talking out loud as if them were alone at the place. We were waking up every day at 6am because we were working, and we needed to rest during the night. We understand that this on the people and not on the property, but maybe if you can put some signs saying to don’t be loud or to respect the common spaces, could help. Don’t Know.

First of all Dawud is a fantastic host, despite being v busy and managing several properties he went above and beyond to arrange transfer to and from the Riad. I wanted to extend our stay but sadly the Riad was fully booked but Dawud again went above and beyond to find alternative accomodation. His communication was excellent and he did everything and more I believe to make a trip travelling with a young child easy - and for this I will be forever grateful. Dawud was calm and patient and responded attentively from start to finish. 10/10 The Riad itself is an absolute oasis managed beautifully by Nawal with the assistance of Mohammed who helped us with our transfers and bags. It only has 3 rooms into so you are not overwhelmed by guests and plenty of space to relax after a busy day! The decor and cleanliness 10/10. Towels, soap and loo roll all provided and little but important touches like a map guiding guests to the Riad and a welcome tea was much appreciated. WiFi excellent. Will definitely come back!

arriving is difficult as you have to find nearby parking and then walk with all your bags to meet someone at the square- this took us a while as we couldn’t find parking and the guy meeting us was quite rude. it’s also slightly further away from the main squares so you have a decent walk through the chaotic bustling streets!

Beautiful property in the Medina. Very clean with access to a beautiful terrace. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Breakfast can be purchased at an additional cost.

They come to meet you at reception, and walk you to the riad. You are right in the middle of the Medina ! Cheerful and friendly staff.

I spent 3 nights in this Riad with my sister and we had a good stay, not so difficult to access and it is easy to find compared to other riads, the room is very clean and the shower is hot, very quiet and comfortable, there is also a common area where you can relax. The lady who works at the riad is very friendly and always has a smile on her face. You can also leave your luggage in Riad after departure if you have a late bus/train and explore the city.

Nice place and wonderful staff. Breakfast was awesome.

good location

1. there’s no breakfast served as I’ve been waiting since 7am-8am and I couldn’t find any of the staff, I had to check out early that day. 2. the location of the riad like a maze and at night there no lighting on the way to the place.
