Villa Incanto on the Sea

The property is located on the opposite site of the bay of Siracusa. It’s a beautiful space with everything you need to just let all your worries and stress go away. - amazing outside area with heaps of space - amazing view of Siracusa from the property - private access to the water - not a beach, but you can easily dive into the Mediterranean Sea - mostly sandy with a few rocky patches in the water The hosts were super friendly and always eager to help us with any questions we had! We had an amazing time there and would totally recommend this villa, if you’re looking for a luxurious way to relax and enjoy a few days with your partner, as a small family or in a group of maximum 4 people. There are two things we would have wanted to have knowledge of: 1. The villa is not individually placed on the property. There is another apartment on the back of the villa and there is a whole other building behind the hedge. You are going to be with the hosts and other family members on the property and the other house even has one more accomodation for guests/tourists. Nevertheless the area of this villa was exclusively used by us and there is more space for the other people living or being there. Once in a while people will walk through your area - e.g. to get to the private pier or to get some stuff from a storage area. We didn’t think it was a problem, we just wanted to leave this information so people could decide if they’re fine with that or if they need a totally private accomodation. 2. Be aware that one of the two beds is located in the main room of the villa where the kitchen and the door to the bathroom are. There is another small room with one more bed. So if you’re travelling with more than 2 people, you have to share one bathroom and if you’re sleeping in the small room you would have to walk by the other bed to get to the bathroom at night. It was not a big problem for us because we (2 couples) are really close so it didn’t bother us.

Both of the beds had pretty soft and uncomfortable mattresses. It was still manageable for the three nights we slept there but I wouldn’t have wanted to sleep another night like this.

Absolutely everything! The location, parking, garden, pool, place and most of all the host. Definitely need to come back one day.

This is a lovely private villa right by the sea, beautiful garden with lots of space and a pool, you can also swim in the sea. The villa is very comfortable with everything you need! The hosts left wine and snacks for our arrival, it was very thoughtful!

Not much to comment on. Exceeded our expectations.

We visited 'out of season' (November) and the weather was really quite bad. I'm sure this location would be so much more enjoyable in the Spring & Summer. The accommodation and the garden are very pleasant. It's a lovely view across the bay (and the mussel beds), towards Ortigia. The hosts were pleasant, responsive and helpful with suggestions about shops, parking, etc. The kitchen is functional and well-equipped (though no kettle), and the rest of the accommodation is well decorated/furnished. I don't think there was a tv, but that's fine with us.

The weather was terrible! Nearby restaurants and markets were closed (understandably). It didn't feel safe to walk along the road due to several large dogs wandering about. (The accommodation & garden itself were fine). You need a car to stay here, especially in November.

A lovely luxury type villa with a big garden and a beautiful view of the sea, island city and muscle farm. The kitchen was a little small but manageable. A very pleasant stay.

beautiful location and easy access to Siracusa nicely decorated place, super-friendly hosts and a kitchen that was useable, even though we didn’t! Like a home mixed with high-end hotel vibe

not sure how outside lights could be turned on or off, but that was okay. I had brought a sleep mask to block light anyway!
