Bardzo przyjemne miejsce do odpoczynku po całodziennym zwiedzaniu. Spokojna okolica. Można zaparkować samochód przy domu. Przyjemnie było patrzeć na przechadzające się nieopodal konie i słyszeć ich poranne rżenie. Bardzo gorąco polecam!

The location was ideal for trips into Tuscany and Umbria. Montepulciano, Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia are within a one-hour drive.

The guest house belongs to a working stable. There were about 20 horses, from what I saw mainly trekking horses. I've been involved in equestrian sports for 30+ years. The methods we got to witness at this place were very 'old school'. We got to witness the owner and three young men 'teaching" a horse how to jump. First, the horse was tied to a tree for at least two hours. Then, the 'schooling' started. The horse was pulled by a rope attached to its halter to jump two sets of cavaletti topped with metal bars while three men flanked it from behind equipped with a whip and long metal sticks. The terrified horse had no chance to properly gauge the jump as it was pulled along. They even used a motorised winch to drag the horse along.. The poor horse was confused and panicky. It did not understand what was required of him at all. There was no explaining or any form of positive encouragement. Just brute force. The horse would stand there desperately pulling back against the rope until it couldn't bear the force any longer. To avoid having his legs or neck broken it would finally jump off all four feet at once to get over the obstacle. In this process, it certainly didn't learn how to jump. The method was repeated until the horse couldn't keep up anymore and collapsed. It was heartbreaking watching it lying on the ground while the guys kept abusing it to get it back on its feet. By this time the whole family was involved in the spectacle but no-one seemed to show any empathy with the horse. It finally got up when one of the guys hit it with a metal bar and was then led away. We were shocked and appalled. It was hard not to intervene but we feared for our own safety. Wth respect for different riding styles and traditions, there is no need for such cruel and outdated methods in horse training. If you have a heart for animals, especially horses, better avoid this place.

Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay. Excellent building, very clean and very tastefully done. Great to see such well looked after and cared for horses. Very friendly hosts.

We have no criticisms of the accommodation and it's surroundings. We do feel that booking. Com should make it clear that the private cottage is on farmland, some people might not like that but we loved it.

We picked the keys up slightly before the check in time …we got there early from the airport and got lucky that the host was nice and the place was ready. The silence, the horses, the dogs, the cats, the parrots and of course the hosts made the stay quite amazing. We will return and recommend.

We had some small issues with the heating in the first night, probably we didn’t know how to adjust it, but the extra blankets helped so problem solved.
