Belvedere

Tucked down and away from the street, you overlook the Valle d’ Itria and a vineyard below. A very comfortable and spacious stay with anything you’d need for either a long or short stay. A very friendly host that communicates well, even though I speak no Italian. Locorotondo is a lovely, lovely town.

Close to centre of lovely town. Spacious. Kitchen with coffee machine. Great view from terrace.

Only had one bed ! Difficult to find behind and below the building of even numbers ?

Inside was a little bit old, but nothing for concern

The appartement was nice and cool in the July heat. Right next to the old town, the winery and the amazing view but still secluded.

Too few days in this lovely town -we wish we could have stayed longer

The apartment is in a beautiful location on the outskirts of the city center. The rear of the building overlooks vineyards. Next to the apartment are several nice restaurants. Even one where you can wine and dine in the vineyard. The apartment is very fully furnished in a traditional way. The owners are great. They use Google translate to communicate and it works perfectly.

Unfortunately it was raining when we were there and therefore it sometimes smelled like sewer in the apartment, despite the fact that the apartment was really 100% clean.

Best thing about the place: absolutely stunning view of the valley around Locorotondo on the small terrace in front of the apartment ! There’s also a vineyard that does wine tastings directly next to the place. Apartment is well equipped and close to the old city, cafes and restaurants.

It was a bit cool there in May when the outside temperature was 20 degrees celsius. So I guess the apartment is good in summer when it’s really hot outside.
