Property is superb and very well run by Manlio who is a fantastic host. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool area is super relaxing and invites you to chill there for a day. In the evening it gets quite fresh (-5c vs Cefalu) as the villa is up in the hills, you can open the window and get fresh air at night, absolute luxury. Breakfast is great and has everything you need. Manlio is really nice and has great tips for the area.

Nothing negative. As a tip, as often on the island the access is a bit tricky if you have a low car as the road is quite bumpy with potholes. But it's a general tip for Sicily, rent an SUV (coming from an anti-SUV person)

Where do I start. I stayed 2 nights one whole day and I did not leave. Manlio was the best host even to the fact that I called him Marco many times to start with and he was too polite to correct me . A lone female travelling for the first time on her own . I had driven 4 hours because of the good old Sicilian road works and diversions. Tired and hot he showed me the beautuful location and facilities. They were full with 9 guests . The building sits nestled on the hillside and the front terrace over looks Cefalù the sea and hills . After I had a swim in the gorgeous cool pool and had a soak in the very hot hot tub . I grabbed a processco from the bar/coffee area and went to the front terrace. I was all on my own and about 8 pm I was greeted for my patience with the most captivating sunset that I could feel myself near to tears . Enchanting . And the quiet amazing . There were 4 couples there and I think all had gone into town . If you are going to stay please book a later meal and wait for the sunset you will not be disappointed. Jokingly I said to Manlio as I was leaving that I would give a bad review so he didn't get booked up as I want to return and didn't want him getting to busy. The breakfast is 9 to 10 which is fine for me and Manlio served great coffee and would chat . Great range of meats, cheeses, bread, fruit,cakes, cereal etc and the sundried tomatoes , bellisimo. Space for 4 cars to be in the shade I will be back. Gracie mille Ciao.

If there was any negative... If I had to find something it would be that I like water in my room. I had some but no glass . There was a tiny thin plastic one and because I used it ( but I was happy for it to stay by my bed) It was cleared away and not replaced .no biggy. I went and got a paper cup from the coffeee/ bar area .

Far from the city center, nearly 20 minutes by car, the location is very inconvenient. The room was clean, but there was no fridge. In such hot weather, not even a single bottle of water was provided — and the water costs €1.5 per bottle! In the other budget accommodations I’ve stayed in, even those that cost only dozens of euros, there was always cold water and free coffee prepared for guests. And yet, this place dares to call itself a “Luxury Select Farmhouse”? Even worse, it is clearly stated that eating and drinking in the room are strictly prohibited, and guests are required to keep the room clean every day. Excuse me, am I on holiday or here to do housekeeping? Fine, we didn’t eat or drink in the room. We tried to eat in the lounge, but were told it’s not allowed there either. So where should we eat? Apparently, we are supposed to squat in the yard to eat. Completely ridiculous. The swimming pool is the only entertainment facility. I thought we could relax there, but in the afternoon when we were simply chatting, we were reminded that our voices were too loud. Thank you, host, for making me feel like I was back in school, being watched by a strict teacher. What a “childhood flashback.” The kitchen is closed to guests, and there is no fridge in the room. We brought yogurt and dessert but had nowhere to store them. When we put them in the kitchen fridge, we were told it wasn’t allowed, and later the kitchen was locked. This is the first time I’ve seen a farmhouse where guests are not allowed to use the kitchen at all. Completely beyond understanding. And then the parking — I chose this farmhouse because I thought it would be easy to park and unload luggage. But in the end, parking inside their own yard cost us €8. This completely broke my expectations for what a farmhouse stay should be. Overall, maybe the host has very high personal standards for cleanliness and order.

Manlio était le propriétaire des lieux, infatigable dans la communication, l’entretien et le bien-être des ses hôtes. Il a véritablement le souci du détail pour rendre le séjour parfait. Ménage quotidien. Excellent petit-déjeuner, havre de paix et site privilégié à 600 mètres d’altitude (moyennant quelques lacets à grimper), loin de la cohue et de la frénésie de Cefalù.
