This was my first visit to Salerno and spent one week in this very nice and well-located apartment. It’s just 15 minutes by foot from the tram station and less than five minutes from the Duomo. It was very clean and had all need for my staying. Although it was a bit difficult to communicate with the host at the very beginning, she was of great help afterwards. She even allow me to check in a bit earlier and do the check out later as well.

Super Well located and good for home office while you travel around to Amalfi coast. Even though is the middle of main square is extremely quiet in the evening and just few minutes from the station that connects Salerno to all main cities in Italy. Salerno is a very charming city, easy and flat to walk around the boats to Amalfi Capri, Positano are often day and night and you have a spectacular view of the entire coast. The sidewalk by the sea in the sunset is unreal! I would highly recommend this authentic city as the base to visit Amalfi Coast. The train station is also excellent and you can go from there to Naples, Rome or Puglia. The restaurants and shops are really good and the whole vibe of a Italian city where you can see the real south of Italy with good infrastructure and safety.

It is common in old buildings not have lift so just be aware of, the place is on the second floor so it is not too bad.

This was my second stay at Dimora. Check in was smooth. The apartment is comfortable clean with all amenities. It is in a fantastic location - in the centre and only 10min walk from Salerno station with plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance.

It was supposed to sleep 4, however the sofa bed was very small for my 2 kids (5 and 8yo) to share. No tea towels, not toaster, no bags for rubbish. It's a dark apartment. No natural light through the window due to closeness of the next building. Wasn't expecting sets of stairs, we had a fair bit of luggage to get to the 3rd floor.

I’ve been using Booking.com for many years and never have I experienced this. The staff/customer service was absolutely rude and horrible. We were made to wait over an hour to check in, and then the individual that came to let us into the property was 15 minutes late. I called the point of contact and she hung up on me. When we finally got “checked in,” the room we booked was not ready. For the price we paid, this was extremely disappointing.

The apartment is in the heart of the center; the old town. very convenient to move around. there are many restaurants, supermarkets and bar around that area. it’s also very close to the coast.

it doesn’t have an elevator, I had three luggages and had to take them to the second floor. although the owner is so caring and helpful and she helped me with the luggages.
