The fact that I had issues finding both the lodging and the check in counter and that the emergency line provided was not picked up when I reached around 8pm. I had to search around in the cold and got some shop owners around to help me call the emergency lines. I even walked 100 m away to get to another hotel whom tried to call them for me. Only after I texted booking.com did they try to reach me through email. I was so distraughted that by 10pm I have checked myself in with my 2 children. It spoilt my 1st day in Japan.
