Kakomu - Vacation STAY 70352v

Kakomu House is a well-designed and fun property, which perfectly suits a family or a small group of 5-6 people. It is conveniently located at about 3 minutes drive from the port with views over the bay from the house’s terrace. The hosts, Kyoko and Osamu are very welcoming and helped us a lot in finding good spots for our visit to Kesennuma.

It is a very clean, spaceful and warm accommodation. All of the decorations were lovely. The accommodation was much more beautiful than the photo showed. The owner is humorous and was so kind to us. I had wonderful time in the accommodation. I will stay in this accommodation if I go again.

wonderful hospitality in an authentic traditional japanese house. the owners, who leaves in the oposite house, are so kind and eager to help. it is a true guest house, with 3 rooms on the upper floor (fan only), 2 of them are dormitory rooms, and beautiful air conditioned communal space on the 1st floor. the conmunal space is really outstanding, with swing hanging from the ceiling, a fireplace and a traditional section with hearth for coocking. a lot of menga books everywhere. the owners uses google translate to comunicate and have so warm hospitality. when we wanted to go out in the evening it was rainy, so they helped us make take out reservation, and even went out to buy us beers!!! highly recommended experience.

its on the upper part above the city, so there is a bit of a hike to get there if you don't drive, but its worth it!!

The owner are super friendly and nice. House is huge and super cold cause is located on the hill. Luckily the well prepared of owner with soft blanket we feel warm.
