Property was an easy walk from the train station. Easy keypad access. Host was very responsive when we reached out about instructions on using washing machine and heater. Quickly responded with medical information for my husband. Pictures were accurate. Would recommend to others.

"The house only maximum for 5 guests."

Location only

The arrangement, didn’t inform in advance that for 9 guests, some of them need to sleep in kitchen and near washroom. No space for putting luggages, need to move the luggages to upstairs with stairs. Stinky in house.

very nice restored machida house with plenty of space for 4 or more people. old yet with all the modern amenities you need like electrical outlets to charge many devices. loved that there was 2 separated toilets.

as with many machiya houses, main bathroom downstairs with tub downstairs but the house makes this up with a toilet upstairs so u don’t have to do stairs when you are half asleep. caution that the stairs are narrow and steep which could be a problem for some folks. no dryer, but washer is there.

"Great House, Great Support, Great Stay in Kyoto"

Andon Hanare had provided us with a travel guide which covered getting to the accommodation, and i can honestly say that the information provided was absolutely brilliant , it coved everything we needed, I would also add that the support team looking after the accommodation were fantastic, and we only had a couple of little issues which they dealt with very promptly . The location was perfect .although off the centre of Kyoto , but with Public Transport or taxi within 5 minutes of the accommodation getting around to any of the fabulous sights in Kyoto with the aid of Google maps was so easy , 5 min to the train station and 2 stops to Kyoto Station, Buses to the shopping centre ( Which is fabulous) take 10 minutes , I can recommend this house without question

I couldn't really find anything wrong with our stay ,
