The palapas are refreshingly original. I didn’t want to shut my eyes as I was going to sleep! The view from the bed of the silhouetted trees was too beautiful. The open air shower was the best! Really enjoyed the jungle garden and much appreciated having use of the kitchen. Thank you.

We didn’t find our love with Tulum, but Meli-Melo P&B provided a perfect escape and the property is en route for Coba and Punta Laguna which we hugely enjoyed.

The place is unique and if you're looking for an experience inside the jungle it's perfect. I also appreciated the detail that they provided us with coffee in the kitchen. Also the recommendations of Quentin are great and very valuable.

It's not fault of nobody, so it's not to complain but the road to get to the property it's hard to drive through especially at night. Also the house where we stayed was very humid. Again it's not something that depends on the property, they're doing a great job, but it could be annoying for someone that is look for a place that is dry. A part from these two small things, a very good experience and a super nice host.

Everything - was truly sad to leave. The perfect spot for our family stay over New Year, the room was stylish and thoughtfully laid out with nice touches. Host was exceptional, kind, helpful and very welcoming. We had our own spacious bungalow with a separate kitchen and parking place, the shower was amazing and always hot without fail. Love the eco & sustainability approach, a very special place. The noises of the rainforest at night were a particular highlight for us all :)

Nothing. One of the nicest and most comfortable places I've stayed in for a while.

amazing stay in a fantastic Cabana. apart form the shower (in cement) all the rest was made of wood with mosquito nets as windows, the base of the shower is on a giant treetronk. Quentin, the French owner is really nice and helpful. The optional breakfast we had the second day was exceptional, advocado toast with eggs and fruit smoothy and coffe/mexican, if you wanted more you could get it. The first night we had a campfire. There was also a chill out area for the kids with chairs and a lot of swings, and that right in the Jungle! The kitchen is very big and has everything you need. and to think that everything is build by himself and some friends. Amazing

Great palapa-style rooms. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was charming, spacious and very comfortable. The place is off the tumultuous Tulum city centre, with a jungle -like feeling. You can use the very well equipped common kitchen. the host is really friendly and serves a delicious breakfast.

The 1 km long dirt road to reach the compound is in a very bad state. You really need to drive very slowly - but it's manageable.

Meli Melo is my fav spot for a Jungle relaxing weekend. The magic of the tropical jungle and the comfort of an off the grid cabana, Meli Melo is a very special place in Tulum. I visited with friends for a weekend of introspection and enjoyment of nature. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, and the owner, Quentin is the greatest host. Don’t miss the brunch!

We hoped to find a little paradise in the jungle and couldn't have landed better. The accommodation is great, very comfortable and in a beautiful surrounding.

The road up to the accommodation is a sandy road with potholes. If the car is really small or very old this may be a problem. We had a small rental car (Renault Kwid) and were a bit worried at first but all went fine.

Our version: In 2024 a german family went to México for a vacation they thought they deserved. This familiy promptly stumbled across a maximum amount of problems on unfamiliar ground. That day, after a journey full of unfortunate incidents, they survived as guests of a kind host in the jungle. So: If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire: a palapa at Quentin‘s Meli-Melo P&B!

Amazing place in the jungle, about 10 min drive out of Tulum. So peaceful and relaxed. Wonderful facilities, very clean and comfortable, perfect stay for a family. Quentin is a great host, very responsive, shares great advice about places to visit in the area.
