Unfortunately whatever could go wrong has gone wrong for us. 1. Language barrier with the hosts - safari price, meal plan werenโt communicated effectively 2. Drinking water in kitchen - supposed to be a plus but it was full of moldy 3. Not many restaurants available nearby (Do recommend Coco Hut) 5. Loud music at random time of the day 6. Dusty floor and stain in sink and toilet

GBHomestay run by a lovely family who helped organised the Safari tour. Room was huge with sitting area and kitchen. Clean and comfy bed. They provided an evening meal, packed lunch and breakfast (at additional but minimal cost) and all were very tasty and very large! . Very peaceful place to relax, good wifi and A/C in the bedroom. Great value base for Safari to Wilpattu
Nothing, but a couple of points to note; there are no restaurants etc close by. Also only cold water to shower, and you could well be joined by the odd frog and bugs due to the location!.

We booked our stay in a lovely looking location, perfect spot on our way by bicycle. We found it, looked great - but they'd double booked so we were put in a driver's room with a short bed. We were given a one dollar discount and had no other concessions. When you're tired and hot from cycling, you really just want a lie down and are too tired to complain - shocking behaviour.
ITRating the "one bedroom house" - big living room, bedroom, big "kitchen" area (just drinking water and sink, no cooking facilities though) and comfy bathroom with hot water. nice garden and common area outside. hosts very nice and helpful with any request. highly recommended!

GBGreat location for going to Wilpattu NP. The owner and all staff were very helpful and kind. They prepared very nice dinner and breakfast. The accomodation was simple but clean and very comfortable beds with mosquitoes nets.
Nothing considering price, it was all good!
