"A genuinely rural experience."

Totally rural location with excellent privacy yet felt secure. Traditional style homestead with modern conveniences including decent WiFi. Very clean and well equipped.

The water pressure was low as one would expect with this sort iof rural home and an onsite supply with pressure tank but the shower head was in very poor condition and that combination made for a feeble water output in the shower. This could easily be fixed. The property is very much decorated to reflect the owners national and international involvement with Rottweiler dogs which was interesting but there were 5 dogs in an adjacent compound who quite naturally barked loudly at disturbances of any sort which caused some lost sleep.

Good communication with the owners, quite and beatufull location, short ride to all activities and city centre. Highly recomend to people traveling with cars!

Everything was perfect - secluded, quiet place. Saw black woodpecker here. And the best part - the dogs. We could only see them from afar, but they made the impression.
