My partner and I booked this for my parents as a surprise for their first visit to Latvia, and it was exceptional. We drove them the short distance from Cēsis and it was very easy to find with the maps, and even in the rain, it was a stunning place. We were very jealous when we left them for the night. The house had everything they'd need from hot drinks in the cupboard to extra blankets for enjoying the night time on the balcony, from sauna hats in the drawer to a speaker in the living area. My dad was particularly enjoying nature spotting during the time and was very excited to tell us of the Storks, Deer and Rabbits he'd seen during his stay. It was easily one of the nicest stays that I've seen to date, and I would love to personally come back.

While my mum loved the sound of the running water while trying to sleep, my dad didn't but that is entirely preference and will be different for each person.

The view, the facilities (sauna, barbecue, fireplace outside, surrounded by majestic field and wonderful lake)

Lack of signal sometimes was a bother, but it was for the best, as that way we were completely disconnected from technology, and enjoyed each other company.

Wonderful little house in the middle of Latvian countryside. Sauna was awesome, the house had everything se needed for our short stay Beautiful setting and your own pond. Really well kept grounds. Everything you need for a secluded romantic or family getaway.
