Hard to come by - modern & huge house in Sliema

Location. Big house. Clean. Staff are helpfull

Great location. House is huge, very comfortable, a lot of space there were for our group of 11 persons. Especially appreciate the roof terrace and tennis table, also the 1st floor garden terrace was great place for dinner, to chill.

When checked in there were not properly washed dishes, so we had to re-wash dishes. In some rooms AC were not working properly.

The location of the property is ideal in Sliema, close to St Julian's bay and there is a good walk path across the beach front.

We went as a group of four families (10 adults and five children) travelling from UK. Unfortunately, we had several issues within the the property: 1. There was no mention that there is no off street car parking available for the property and hence, it was absolute nightmare to find a parking space. As we were not locals, we did not know where to find parking space. I do think, it would have been useful to let us know this information before hand as we could have potentially made changes to our plans. 2. Hot water- We were promised that hot water would be available, but we should have shower in batches of four and wait 20 minutes. Despite this we never got hot water for more than one person during the entire day. 3. AC were not functioning in any of the rooms. When we tried to switch on electric radiators, the power would trip for the entire property. We were given emergency numbers to ring if there is an issue, but despite trying to ring them on multiple times, there was no response at all. 4. There was also construction happening on the house opposite to our house, there was unbearable noise from the building works from 07.00 AM in the morning to 07.00 PM, which meant we could not stay in the house and had to go outdoors to find a quiet place, which was not ideal at all. 5. There was no cleaning of the property during our seven day stay. Bedsheets were not provided. 6. Self Check-in is okay on certain occasions, but when we rent a house, we felt it would be have been ideal if the host had shown as around and explained when to put the garbage out for collection. This never happened and we had tough time to look for local council flyers. 7. Wi-fi does not work on all the floors. 8. The top floor has a table tennis table, but there are gas piping exposed which can be unsafe. In summary, we felt that if the host had spent time within us on the day of check-in and explained to us the issues, we could have at least been better prepared.
