Old but clean house a 450m walk from the water.

BEWARE that though it is advertised as a “five-bedroom” property, after making a reservation the owner (who lives next door) will send a message and try to tell you that you can only use one bedroom per 2 guests. I booked for a group of four adults expecting we would each have our own room, but was told we should share two bedrooms — or that I should pay them cash upon checkin to unlock the additional bedrooms in the house. I told them that was false advertising and they finally “made an exception” in writing over Booking messages to say we could use four bedrooms. When we arrived, the two upstairs bedrooms were locked and we had to wait 45 minutes for the property manager to come — and the owner threatened to kick us out of our accommodation and cancel the booking (after we had paid and checked in). Eventually the property manager unlocked two more rooms. By the way, turns out the fifth bedroom is used as storage and per the owner, is “unusable.” Our last morning the property manager just walked into the property at 7:30am without even knocking, for reasons unknown. Checkout was at 10 and someone else showed up right at 10 to kick us out. Anyway, super weird and annoying experience to search for and book an entire large house for a group gathering then be told to bunk up… then to feel like we were doing something wrong and being watched the whole time we were staying.
