"Uncomfortable stay – cold, dusty, and poorly insulated"

Location

Disappointing experience. The cleanliness was far below expectations - there was dust everywhere, making it uncomfortable to stay in. Additionally, the room was extremely cold, as the place was poorly insulated. It was difficult to keep warm, making it especially unsuitable for a winter stay

Nice place for feeling Japanese style of living, great combination of traditional and use of modern technologies. Check is was so smooth because owners gave very good instructions. Clean and you have everything you need for staying in Kyoto. Supermarkets are in close proximity, there are 3 in range of 5 min walk.

Location is not the best but it is connected with public transport so with investing a bit more time you can easily get everywhere. Usage of many appliances is not so easy because all instructions are in Japanese but google translate can help.

Beautiful, traditional Japanese house with all the modern amenities. Delightful! The house was also clean, comfortable and relaxing for our family of 5.

We ran out of toilet paper in the second floor bathroom.
