"Massa the host has a passion for hospitality and it shows. A great spot, secluded, but only a 15 minute drive to Niseko"

The location was great, easy to get everywhere with a car. The place was spacious for our small group of 3, it was clean and warm. The beds were also comfortable. Great little place to stay! Highly recommend as a base in Niseko. Masa was a great host, and his wagyu dinner is definitely worth it!

"Thank you for the wonderful stay"

We were a family with small children. The accommodation was perfect for our child's first snow. They were very happy, can play snow right in front of the house. The host was very helpful and I recommended yakiniku at home.

"This will be my go to place for my future visits to Niseko."

10.0

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is excellent—quiet, private, and perfectly situated. It’s just 5 minutes to Niseko town, 20 minutes to Kutchan, and 15–20 minutes to the ski resorts depending on which one you are going, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The hosts, Masa and his wife, are incredibly warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond, even helping me pick up delayed Yamato deliveries. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. The house itself is beautifully designed by Masa, blending comfort and elegance. It’s not only cozy but also thoughtfully laid out with details that make it feel unique. Masa also clears the snow on the driveway almost daily, which was a huge help during the snowy season. A highlight of the stay was the amazing yakiniku dinner they offer at a very affordable price—definitely a must-try! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and memorable stay in Niseko.

"Stunning scenery, fantastic stay."

10.0

Such a beautiful secluded place, photos do not do this place justice, the scenery was stunning and every room had a great view, we stayed over Christmas and didn’t realise there would be no taxi’s due to how busy niseko is but the host Masa offered us free complimentary transport into town for our dinner reservation. He also dropped us at shops to do some shopping. So helpful. The accommodation had everything we needed to do home cooked meals and a washing machine to do our laundry. The house was so warm and cosy, we had very comfortable sleeps. We had the most relaxing stay, we will definitely recommend this to anyone after a peaceful, remote location out of the busy niseko main town.

"Disappointing stay. Don’t recommend."

1.0

The heaters did work. It was quite the location- if you are looking for quiet and secluded- you can consider . Can cook if needed as there is the portable cooker- bring your own oil etc…

A disappointing stay indeed. First of all, no toilets on second floor where the bedrooms are. There were 2 bedrooms but only a heater for 1 of them. Therefore we all had to cramp in one bedroom to share the heater. Underneath the bed, there was a thick layer of dust. Thirdly, owner comes in as and when- this is not good. We paid for privacy. He did change the towels and tissue paper once but then didn’t replace the tissue paper upstairs. Another day he came to clean the ice - he didn’t replace the tissue paper. Another point to note, there is no heater dryer…you have to pay to dry your clothes at the nearby laundry shop. Stairs are also very steep for young children. No baby chair if your child needs to eat at the table. Not child friendly indeed. You need a car to stay here- location is indeed very inconvenient and far away from the ski slopes- if you have a car- there are other options - more value. Also for food, you can drive out and buy your groceries… food at the groceries are economical. Night before the day of check out, owner messaged me and asked what time I’m leaving- I asked if I can extend for an hour as the kids are going for a full day of ski class, he said no- he has to clean up for next guest , very inflexible and he didn’t even ask if I needed help to store the luggage’s or if I needed an extra 30 mins,.. very very money faced…. I don’t recommend this property .

Masa-San was very sweet and accommodating! The cabin itself was a lot more spacious than we were expecting. Definitely more than enough space for the two of us. We spent our honeymoon in Niseko and it was the perfect location — only about 20 minutes away from the ski resorts. It’s conveniently located within a few minutes drive from a few small towns where you can get basic groceries. The kitchen was stocked with cooking materials to make breakfast and easy, quick meals. Masa-san offered a full wagyu bbq meal for an additional cost and let me tell you — it was SO worth it. It was plentiful and DELICIOUS! I highly recommend if you like wagyu. Overall, it was an exceptional stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Also, make sure you have a rental car to get around. It’s just a lot easier to move around.
