had the entire little apartment to yourself, nice chill apartment with a dining area and tatami seating area and sofa bed. had everything essential we needed for the 3 days stay, coffee beans and grinder and filter, teas, etc.

bed was slightly hard, so our backs ached a little after 2-3 days. steep flight of stairs to go up from the entrance to the main apartment so it’s slightly challenging with big luggages. bathroom was on ground level which was fine but I felt a bit uncomfortable as it was next to a window facing the back alley (albeit frosted).

Super cozy and aesthetic. Every little detail of the room is so well thought out. It is like a modern upgrade of a typical Japanese Ryokan tatami room.

Nothing. Literally nothing. It is too amazing.

It is like an air bnb apartment. On the 1st floor next to the small main entrance is a small shower room. There’s a wooden flight of stairs to the 2nd level. Entrance is a bit small. On the 2nd floor, at one corner near to the windows, it has a sofa bed for 2 persons. On the other side of the room is a tatami mat good for 2 futon beds. Next to the stairs is a small kitchen with a sink and a small coffee kettle good for drip grind coffee. A wine fridge and a small fridge. It has a wooden table with chairs and bench for chilling out.

The main entrance is small and has a weird looking clothes stand which is not functional. The bathroom is tiny and changing of clothes has to be done outside the bathroom with a drawn up curtain. During the night it gets superbly cold. On the 2nd floor, the other end of the room has tatami mat. To place 4 futons was very cramped. The futons looked old and aged. The room has rustic wooden look and the not whitewashed walls made the room looked somewhat old. There is only 1 kitchen sink in the whole apartment so brushing of teeth and cleaning of face can only be done there. A little unhygienic if you do light cooking using the same sink! There is a mirror above the sink but it is not brightly lit so makeup is a little challenging for ladies. There is a toilet on the 2nd floor facing the flight of stairs. Checking in and check out is a no frills. We were told to collect the key at the restaurant downstairs upon arrival. No formal paperwork as they requested payment to be prepaid a week before arrival and not at check in. Check out is just leaving the key on the kitchen table although there is a digital door lock, we are not taught how to use it as no password was given. Upon checking out, even though we send message to inform owner of our checkout time as formality, there is no acknowledgment to our message. Prior to prepayment, reply to messages were prompt. So there is no personal touch.

It was very easy to collect the property keys on arrival, we met the owner at the hostel and he walked us over to the flat. The overall flat was comfortable with a nice layout.

The bed sheet had a blood stain, which was not a great sign of cleanliness. Also, there was a very bad stench that came up during the night which was almost unbearable, we were not able to sleep continuously.

We loved our stay in this studio apartment! It was comfortable and spacious, and well-located within the town. The owners of this property have thought of everything you could possibly want - so many thoughtful touches, and clever amenities. A pity our time here was so short; we would have loved to stay longer.

The exit light shines quite brightly into the room at night - it would be more comfortable if it was dimmed. Darker curtains to keep the early morning light out, could also be a consideration.

Very cozy place. Comfy beds. Great coffee.

Everything was great

Great convenient location right next to the train station. You'd never know from the exterior laneway that such a lovely chic apartment was there. Great facilities for coffee making. Beautiful,spacious, clean, quiet, modern, private apartment. The owner was very sociable and spoke very good English. There is a restaurant downstairs. The meals were ok, but I think they may have been having problems with staffing.

I understand the need for an emergency exit light, but it was hard to sleep with it shining on the bed during the night. There was no TV in the apartment, but the restaurant downstairs was showing the Baseball on the big screen. Everything else was perfect.
